Mary Bard and Jacqueline Rosenberg are the co-founders of Lightbulb Workshops, combining their unique skill sets into an innovative business offering.

Dr Jacqueline Rosenberg, Director

Jacqueline is an experienced trainer, working with employees within organisations such as GfK, Thomson Reuters and Deutsche Bank, as well as individuals. As a Director of Lightbulb Workshops, she leads highly actionable, practical, and motivational trainings.

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and an MSc in Exercise and Health Science, Jacqueline completed a PhD in Psychology at Bristol University, UK. During this time Jacqueline co-founded a wellness and lifestyle consultancy, working directly with clients to clarify and achieve specific goals.

Following this, Jacqueline spent ten years in policy and market research in London and Singapore. Working nationally, regionally and internationally her clients included PwC, Levi’s, Businessweek, Singapore Airlines, DHL, ICI Paints, Siemens, Pernod Ricard, HMRC, Land Registry and INSEAD.

Jacqueline is a certified NLP Practitioner, and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. She also runs Lifestyle Stress Matters, a consultancy specializing in effective stress management and improving performance at work. She is currently based in Basel and works between Switzerland and the UK

Mary Bard, Director

Prior to establishing Lightbulb Workshops with Jacqueline Mary was a Director with GfK NOP, a leading international market research company, for 14 years.  As part of her remit with GfK, she facilitated many Problem Solving Workshops for clients, using Creative Idea Generation techniques to help companies look afresh at business problems with the aim of improving business performance. In addition Mary led training in Creative Idea Generation techniques for both clients and colleagues.

Working nationally and internationally, Mary’s research clients included: Arriva, Chelsea Football Club, The Design Council, FedEx, HMRC, IBM, Royal Mail, National Audit Office, Network Rail, Transport for London, and Valuation Office Agency, as well as many Government Departments.

Mary presented a paper in Cannes at the European Market Research industry conference on the use of Creative Idea Generation in business-to-business research. She is the author of a research-based book, and, in her free time, presented a live weekend radio programme on BBC Essex for 12 years. Mary also runs Fresh Thoughts, a creative thinking consultancy based in the UK.
